RHS2’s economy is mature after the ~2024 sunset: prices rarely change, so learning the shop map once is enough for years of roleplay and grinding.

Starter options and the Fan Car

Everyone begins with a humble free ride (the classic Rustbucket fantasy—slow, ugly, functional). Immediately join the official Roblox High School: Fan Club group if you have not. Group membership unlocks the RHS Fan Car at Larry’s for free, plus other Fan Club reward tracks that still matter for loyalists. Claim it before you sink Credits into the Standard Car unless you simply want a second daily driver.

Fan Car value is about cost, not top speed. It frees early Credits for the School Basement Key, Agility Coil, or job boosts while you learn Downtown loops.

Larry’s Car Dealership

Larry sits Downtown across from Chef Umbra’s and sells the main credit/gem fleet plus a huge skin catalog. Representative vehicle price bands players still use:

The attached car wash is cosmetic flavor. Do not wait there for a mechanic minigame; spend your time deciding skins.

Promo skins and Blurple

Not every look sits on Larry’s shelf. Promo codes have granted credit bundles, job boosts, and the popular Blurple vehicle skin—a blue-purple finish that still reads as a classic RHS2 flex in screenshots. Outskirts racing and practical routes

The Outskirts loop is the unofficial track: wide road, ramps, low traffic, and a stop at Lost Wares between heats. School → Downtown shops → Neighborhood is the daily triangle; Food District jobs add a fourth node after bell. Subway stations help if you prefer not to drive, but upgraded vehicles still win timed Excellent-shift schedules.

Park considerately outside houses you visit—Neighborhood plots load many models, and blocking doorways is the fastest way to get uninvited from decorating parties.
